Laneway Park (also known as Fletcher Park) is a little playground that is worth a visit. It’s nestled into the heart of Adamstown and can be a bit tricky to find unless you know where to go.
This cute little neighbourhood park was revamped with new play equipment in 2019 so it’s fairly new. As well as the playground, it has a covered picnic shelter and is perfect for those with babies, toddlers and preschoolers.
It features timber play equipment comprising of a small slide, climbing net and bridge.
There’s swings (regular and baby), small play equipment and a couple of wobblies.
There’s also a fun sand pit where kids can play with the sand and use the digger to scoop and dump sand.
It’s a lovely peaceful spot between houses with lots of lawn and trees. It’s a perfect spot to kick around a ball or have a picnic.
There has been a fantastic community effort to make this into a wonderful place for families.
Locals have set up a community garden at the rear of the park so wander by and show your kids the plants that grow there.
