Hive Creative Studios is a hub of activity for budding performers and musicians, offering skill development in Drama, Acting and Musical Theatre as well as piano and voice with highly skilled performing arts teachers. Their program attracts just as many introverts as it does extroverts and each student finds a supportive and inspiring environment for developing confidence, authentic skill and talent in the field they want to pursue alongside developing long lasting friendships. Tantrum is the leading youth arts company in the Hunter region and a not-for-profit co-operative. Utilising performance, storytelling and so much more, they offer meaningful creative workshops, projects and opportunities for young people aged 5 to 26 that build confidence, connections and compassion. Tantrum’s weekly afternoon workshops invite young people from diverse backgrounds with unique interests to come as they are. Some love drama and performance and want to pursue a professional career, some consider themselves artistic in a different way while others don’t at all. Every young person stands to grow in confidence and creativity while having fun and making new friends at the same time!
