Where to Play Mini Golf in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie & Hunter

Who’s been watching ‘Holey Moley’ on Channel 7 and now wants to play mini golf with their families? Putt putt is such a fun activity for kids of all ages. The mini golf courses are the right size for little ones who don’t want to walk too far or have short attention spans. Older kids will have fun playing the putt putt course and trying to sink the ball. Besides, who doesn’t enjoy whacking a ball with a stick?

We’ve done the research and here are some places around Newcastle, Lake Macquarie & the Hunter to play mini golf. There are both indoor and outdoor options.

Newcastle Supa Putt

Head to Newcastle Supa Putt near McDonald Jones Stadium in Broadmeadow and enjoy Newcastle’s only 36 hole putt putt golf centre. There’s an 18 hole undercover course and 18 hole jungle-themed outdoor course. Perfect for no matter what the weather is like. It’s one price for unlimited play of 36 holes. $15 for over 8s and $10 for kids 8 and under. You can bring your own food and drink. It’s also BYO and there are barbecue facilities.

Holey Moley in Charlestown

Get your golf on at Holey Moley at Charlestown Square. There are 18 holes of indoor mini golf that await you and it’s super fun. There are two nine-hole courses that feature a range of unique holes like The Simpsons couch and other pop culture references. It’s completely different than your traditional mini golf experience. It costs $12-$15 for 9 holes or $20-$25 for 18 holes.

Dullboy’s

Dullboy's Mini Golf

Practice your putting on 18 holes of mini golf at Dullboy’s Warners Bay. They have an outdoor Palm Springs-inspired mini-golf course. Play 18 holes for $15. At Dullboy’s Rutherford you can play 18 holes of themed mini golf. Their course is arcades and desert themed and includes Pacman, Space Invaders, Air Hockey, UFO’s and more! Keep an eye out for snakes and creepy crawlies too… Price to play is $17 adults, $16 kids and $58 family.

Kahibah Sports Club

Play some mini golf at Kahibah Sports Club. They have an 18-hole mini golf course that’s fun for all ages to play. Various prices depending on whether you’re a member or not. Members $10 adult / $8 for children / $30 for families for 18 holes. Non-members $15 adult / $12 for children / $40 for families for 18 holes. Currently, summer special displaying on website. During Summer, enjoy mini golf for only $5 per person or $15 for a family of 4!

Beresfield Golf Course

So many golfing options at Beresfield Golf Course! As well as a golf course, they also have an outdoor mini golf course. It costs $11 for adult and $9 for kids or $38 for family (2A+2C) for 1 game or $22 for adult, $17 for kid or $66 for family (2A+2C) for unlimited mini golf. You can also combine mini golf with a round of regular gold (11 holes) and FootGolf where you kick a soccer ball into a specially designed cup.

Hunter Valley Aqua Golf

As well as a really fun aqua golf driving range, Hunter Valley Aqua Golf also has a putt putt course. Challenge your family and friends to 18 holes of mini golf course beside the lake. The putt putt course winds through landscaped gardens within the Hunter Valley Gardens Village. It’s $6 for adults and $5 for kids and family (2A+2C) is $20. If you feel like hitting golf balls into the lake as well as mini golf, enquire about the Combo deal. You get one bucket of balls at aqua golf plus 18 holes of putt putt for just $12 per person. You can also bring your own food and drinks as Hunter Valley Aqua Golf is situated in a picnic area so you can BYO eskies, blankets and chairs.

Go-Karts-Go Hunter Valley

For an epic mini golf experience, try putt putt at MOUNT PUTT-A-RAMA at Go-Karts-Go Hunter Valley in Kearsley. Their 18 hole mini golf course is a scaled model of Bathurst’s famous Mount Panorama racing car track.  the golf course features Mount Panorama themed artwork and signage throughout and obstacles shaped from racing car parts.  Players putt through V8 Supercar rims, between V8 Supercar brake disks and down Conrod Straight featuring big conrods. It costs $10 for 18 holes of fun!

Toboggan Hill Park

There’s so much to enjoy at Toboggan Hill Park in Nelson Bay including mini golf. Their outdoor mini golf course is situated among Banksias and colourful Christmas Bush. The course consists of 19 challenging holes and is fun for the whole family. There’s a range of activity passes but to just play mini golf, you’ll need to purchase an individual activity pass.  You can bring your own food along for the day. There is a large grassy picnic area is located near the Toboggan track.

David Grahams Golf Complex

Head to Anna Bay and enjoy a round of putt putt at David Graham Golf Complex. You can test your skills on challenging 20 hole outdoor but undercover putt putt course. It costs $15 for adults, $10 for kids and family (2A+2C) is $45.
