Questions

What ages are these itineraries suitable for?

We’ve tried to make the itineraries suitable for families with kids of all ages. Obviously, every family is different so feel free to change up the itinerary to suit your circumstances and interests. With younger kids, you might even want to divide up a day itinerary into two separate day trips.

What do you mean “FREE” activities?

For this eBook, we’ve chosen activities that don’t cost anything extra for your family to participate in. E.g. wildlife exhibits at Blackbutt, exploring caves at Caves Beach and walking up to the top of Mount Sugarloaf.

Are all the activities listed in the eBook operational now?

They should be. Before you set out on a family excursion, please double-check to confirm it is open and if you need to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

How do I use this download?

Just click on the link above and download the PDF. You can save the PDF to your files either on your phone, tablet or computer. When you’re on your family day out, access the itinerary on your phone and open one of the 12 Google Maps we’ve created just for readers of this e-book. You can open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app available for iPhone, iPad and Android or store it on your Notes.

Can I print the eBook?

Yes. We’ve created the eBook in A4 PDF format so it’s easy to print. The PDF is 28 pages so we suggest double-sided printing or just printing the pages that you need.

Is this eBook free?

Yes it’s completely FREE. Please note this is the updated version of the paid Winter ebook we created in 2020 post-lockdown. Like other small businesses, we were impacted hard by COVID-19 with our advertising revenue disappearing overnight. Selling an ebook in 2020 was a pivot to bring in money so we could continue Newy with Kids while providing a service for our readers. This year, we’re not charging for the ebook but we would love if you show us support by continuing to follow us!

Can I share this with my friends and family?

Please do. We love it when you tell your friends and family about Newy with Kids. As a small business, we don’t have a massive marketing budget but greatly appreciate word of mouth advertising.

eBook Reviews (for previous editions)

Just downloaded my copy. It looks fantastic and really versatile for whatever kind of day we all feel like having. Can’t wait to get the kids out and about – lots of things I hadn’t thought of even as a lifetime local. Thanks heaps NwK. We’ll be looking forward to the Spring and Summer versions later in the year too! – Simmone P.

Granddaughter and I enjoyed our first bush walk today. We filled our backpacks with snacks and practiced bush bashing through 2 clumps of grass! The most exciting thing though was finding a puddle and mud! Occupied for 15 minutes. Thanks Newy with Kids for suggesting a walk at Kilaben Bay – Julie S.

Just downloaded mine! I love it – it’s well thought out and so many locations we have yet to explore! – Cherry C.
