If you love timber playgrounds, visit this playground in Coldstream Crescent Reserve on McCaffrey Drive in Rankin Park. Like the nearby Elbrook Drive playground in Rankin Park, it was refurbished in late 2019.

There’s a covered picnic area which is great for parents to hang out and watch kids play. Currently, the park is missing a bin so you’ll need to take your rubbish home with you.

The playground is fenced on the side closest to McCaffrey Drive.

Near the playground, you’ll find lots of green space ideal for kicking a ball around or just running around.

It does slope down towards a creek so you will need to keep an eye on younger kids. Just bring Aerogard as there was a few mozzies around.
