If you feel like cooking for yourself, there is also the BBQ Boat for hire from Trinity Point Marina. The skipper needs to be 18+ but does not have to have their boat licence to drive the BBQ Boat.

BBQ Boat Trinity Point

Park up the boat with your family and friends for a half day or full day on Lake Macquarie. Like the name suggests, there is a BBQ on board to cook up a feed so just bring your food, eskies, swimmers and fishing gear for a fun day out. Maximum 12 people.

For those adults and teens (ages 16+ only) who want more of an adrenalin rush, book in for a session on the newest thing on the water in Lake Macquarie – an e foil flight board.

Flight boards are the best on the market and are electric powered foiling boards. You control them via a handheld controller. These travel above the water at up to 40km per hour.

No experience necessary, the experienced watersports staff will guide you in how to use the electric powered e Foil on the water and they will have you up foiling before you know it. To see flight boards in action, check out their Instagram page.

You can also leave the kids behind and plan a romantic day out. Wow your partner by booking in a FREE E-Bike/Stand Up Paddleboard/kayak session, or for those that want to fly on the water book a 90 minute eFoil Flight board experience followed by a romantic lunch or dinner at the impressive 8@Trinity.
