If you’re looking to camp in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, this is the only place you can do it. With views of Pittwater, it’s one of Sydney’s most popular beach camping spots. It’s an experience just getting to the campground as there’s no car access to The Basin campground. You’ll need to arrive by water taxi, boat or ferry or else it’s a steep 2.8km walk to the campground from the carpark.
