The Maitland Showground will again come alive for three days in February 2023 with a range of activities, attractions, entertainment, competitions, and exhibitions along with an array of rides, amusements and free fun activities.
The Maitland Show runs from Friday 17 February through to Sunday 19 February 2023. This year’s theme is ‘Celebrating Our Multicultural Community’ which incorporates international cuisine and multicultural entertainment.
The Maitland Show will bring the country to the city through agricultural and horticultural exhibits and competitions from Art to Cattle to Cooking and Horses to Photography.
There is plenty of fun for families to enjoy including rides, showbags, pig racing , animal nursery and reptile displays.
Following on from the huge success of the 2022 show, 2023 will see the Showmen’s Guild of Australasia pack sideshow alley with many fantastic rides and amusements for the whole family.
Maitland Show star attractions include:

Visitors to the show will have hands-on interaction in the animal nursery and the farmyard animal area. The pavilions will feature photography, art and homecrafts displays, showcasing cookery with cakes, jams and preserves and lots of local farm produce.
Feature attractions for the 161th Maitland Show will include the very popular fireworks, woodchop, rodeo, animal nursery, lots of farm animals and demolition derby.
Online Tickets are $18 for adults, $9 for kids aged 5 – 16. Kids 4 and under are free. You can also do a Family bundle – $45 for 2 adults and 2 children or $70 for 2 adults and 3 children. Online tickets will enter through the Express Gate at Louth Park. Purchase tickets via the Maitland Show website. If you need to park your car, it will be $5.00 per vehicle (includes donation to the Lions Club).
